Summary
Part of a series of programs that presents the unique heritage of the Ozarks. Jim Baker interviews Leo Journagan, a southwest Missouri businessman, rancher, and education benefactor, along with his wife, Jean, and son Allen, and business associate Marty Lueck. They discuss the family business, Leo Journagan Construction Company, Springfield, Mo., founded in 1948, and their large cattle operation in Douglas County. They relate experiences that have resulted in success and benefit to agriculture students from southwest Missouri, as they donated their working cattle ranch to the agriculture program at Missouri State University. This was the second-largest single gift in the history of Missouri State University
