This journalism master's project includes a professional work component and a research component. The professional work component details the author's experiences working as an intern at Gannett Rochester Newspapers on the civic journalism team. Includes field notes and examples of work, opinion polls and story budgets. A full series of articles on teen experiences with and views on violence are reprinted.
